These pictures may be lacking in natural sunshine and precise angles, but this punch makes up for whatever isn't perfect visually in this post!
This holiday has been a lot of fun: family, friends, food, long freezing walks all throughout Montreal (it is supposed to be -35 degrees celsius this week!!!!), and... BOOZE.
Yes. Booze is an essential ingredient for the holiday season. Bring on the merriness and smiles. This particular cocktail is inspired by a friend who told me that her family in Finland drinks cinnamon syrup and vodka cocktails at Christmas. I've turned this into a punch... because... well, do we need a reason for punch?!
Right now I have two awesome friends visiting me in Montreal, and we are celebrating this Sunday with an AMAZING holiday punch. It would be the most perfect punch for any New Years celebration.
Let's get involved!!!
Holiday Punch - What you need:
- 1 cup of vodka
- 3 cups ginger ale (Canada Dry is my ginger ale of choice!)
- 1 1/2 cups cinnamon syrup
- 1 bottle sparkling wine
Holiday Punch - What you do:
In a big bowl, mix all of the liquids together.
(^^ The famous Swede. Things are kinda crazy. Normally she looks a bit more... normal?)
Serve over ice and ENJOY!
Baking soundtrack - Tunes to inspire your inner baker (or punch maker!):
Our party dance music for the evening! Enjoy!!!
PS: Don't drink and drive this holiday. It's really bad for you.
